I already had several perfectly good pairs of earbuds, including a pair of Anker Liberty Air which cost £35 more and are my usual go-to, but I have to admit I was swayed into buying these after seeing the What Hi-Fi 5 review. Can they be as good as they said for under £55? The answer is a resounding yes from me!Firstly there's some neat touches that even my Liberty Air's don't have, such as the wireless charging case. It's a little thing but it is those little things that just make life easier at the end of the day. You still have the option of a quicker charge with USB-C but I suspect most people will be dumping the case on their bedside table like me ofr overnight charging. You can use a single earbud if you want, if you are using it just for calls for example. With the case you are looking at 35 hours of battery life, which should be plenty for anyone. Like my Anker's there are 2 mics per earbud which keeps calls very clear, and they are waterproof too. There's wearer detection too (take them out your ear and the music stops), again something you wouldn't expect at this priceOn to sound quality and you can see why they got the review they did - I honestly feel these might be better than the Liberty Airs and they are a clear step above the Tribits I got for my daughter. They really do punch above their weight for the price with a clear and balanced sound that to be manages to make music sound slightly more expansive than the Libertys. All in all then I can see why they are well regarded, and for me they are the best budget (sub £100) earphones I've found so far. The sound quality is brilliant for the price. What I like most is the wireless charging technology of this device. I think EarFun blew the AirPods here big time! My only gripe is it only comes in black colour. I’m hoping for the white colour to arrive soon. Pretty satisfied customer here. Highly recommended!Update: There was a little technical problem with the left earbud awhile ago but, instead of returning the item I followed the troubleshooting process and it was resolved. Now I'm a happy bunny again! Show Full Review
...noticed the left earbud has contact problems with the charging case, so charging is a bit hit and miss.
More often than not I have to push the bud forward in case to get it to charge, then it might continue to charge, or might not.
Tipping the case backwards can also stop the left earbud charging.
The right one works flawlessly.
Other than that was very impressed with the sound, sadly I had to return because of the charging fault and now they're no longer in stock :(
EDIT: Now purchased another pair, all good. 5 stars!
Very impressed! Will be getting a white set when they become available for the OH.
Also a good and relatively inexpensive Xmas present :) Show Full Review
Had some initial issues with them, the manual isn't terribly informative and the "lights" on the charging case and the earpieces take some getting used to and to understand. When I first had them they charged irregularly so the right one ran out of charge very quickly and shutdown in the middle of a run - which wasn't great. I've fixed that by charging them and the case and keeping the case charged regularly.I use them mostly for exercise - I've been doing the couch-to-5k thing - and they are fine for running. It took some experimenting to get the correct size of tip onto them - I have different sizes on the left and right. That caused some issues when I was running, feeling it slip out of my ear my instinct was to press on the flattest surface to get it back in my ear - which paused the podcast. I haven't mastered the touch buttons on them yet, and I haven't managed to use them as a hands-free for phone calls. The only time I tried it the other person could hear me but I couldn't hear them. Again a little tweaking probably required.Overall I'm really pleased with them, they work just as well as my partners Apple-earpods - better if you include the microphone and the on-ear controls. Great value for money too! Show Full Review
I was genuinely surprised by the quality of the headphones when it came. The packing, finish of the product and feel of it does not once give a hint that this is a below 60 GBP earphones. Of course, it would be unfair to compare with the best of the best like Bose, but it delivers per price levels.I have been using these headphones and also own Bose, Beats earphones, so have an idea of the sound quality and crispness. This doesn't compare with them in the bass, but in all other terms, they are giving the high-end brands a tough run for their money. I found the Bluetooth connection, much easier and quicker to set up as well as connect /disconnect. They connect within seconds! Also, I have been using these for straight 5-6 hours a day and the stated 7hour battery life while in use certainly seems achievable. They are lightweight, don't feel like you have them on and still gives a nice fit on your ears thanks to variable sizes of the silicon ear connectors. Very satisfied and ordered one more for my brother as a gift. Show Full Review
