An Upgrade From Non-Noise Cancelling Earbuds By Mrs. Smith Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2021

I bought these ear buds for a few reasons: my teenage kids quickly go through ear buds, with pets chewing on cords or pulling pair after pair out of their ears too forcefully and breaking the thin connections, or just plain losing them. I also got these ear buds wanting the ease of moving around and writing during virtual school, so they needed to be wireless. They didn't want to be seen on camera wearing their usual big can headphones. I myself already have a pair of the EarFun Air wireless ear buds, and I love them, as well as their incredible customer service, so I didn't have to deliberate over whether to trust the product or not. I also thought, okay me, get the noise-canceling version of the Ear Fun Air so that the background sounds of the house wouldn't disturb the students while at online school. And in fact, the kids clearly prefer the noise-canceling ear buds over their regular listening devices. Being free to move around wirelessly, and the look of not being tethered to the screen is awesome. I guess they're finally at the age where they care about how they look, so the EarFun Air Pro 2 buds were deemed "very cool" by them. I agree the design is stylish and sleek, and best of all they're so different (even the replacement covers are a cool dark grey/red color) that these ear buds can't be confused with anybody else's. They say the sound is clear and they can't hear distracting clatter from the kitchen, or just regular talking/music around the house like they usually would. My husband is a musician and records live in the house 8 hours a day, so now that we have the ANC feature, it's a must-have for those working at the computer.
They hold a surprisingly long charge and I love how quickly the charge is full. 3 hours is nothing compared to how long it takes to charge all the other devices we have. And then the ear buds keep working for days!
The noise-canceling feature works really for me. I tried these buds on several phonecalls as well as in Zoom meetings. I'm thinking I need to get another pair for me, for cellphone use, or if I'm lucky my teenager will trade with me, because I've always had trouble hearing people through my little phone speaker. The noise-canceling makes everything so clear and easy to hear. My hearing has been diminishing over the years and these REALLY help me! Music sounds great too and I'm able to hear more than I did before on my favorite songs.
The instructions to use the tap-through features like volume control, pausing, and skipping tracks is easy breezy to learn. The EarFun Air Pro 2 makes a "boop" sound when the function command happens, so you know your tapping sequence worked. I think that's so helpful to have so you're not guessing whether you did it correctly. They are easy to pair to a device on the first try, easy to plug in and charge, easy to twist into place in the ear. The indicator lights on them makes it easy to tell when you need to charge them up again. These are just a very nice product designed with simple user intuition in mind.
Now the very best thing I have to say about Ear Fun Air is their customer service. I bought two pairs of EarFun Air buds on amazon last year, for hubby and me, and one of the left buds started to cut out after a couple months of use. Through a couple email exchanges with customer service, they helped me troubleshoot the problem. I could tell they wanted to make it right and stayed on top of it with their quick replies. In the end, I couldn't get the left ear bud to work and asked for a replacement or repair of it, but they actually sent me a whole new pair and very quickly! They were so responsive and took great responsibility for their product, it really impressed me how they stand behind their company and care about their customers. That's getting to be rare these days with so many knock-off brands trying to copycat Apple with their lesser quality devices. I would say EarFun is building their own model of great quality and service.
So if you want a high quality, no-fuss listening device that improves your sound, has amazing customer service, looks cool, sounds great, and won't break your budget, EarFun Air Pro 2 is a smart choice. Show Full Review

Let me get this out of the way - I am an audiophile. A proud, card-carrying member of this sometimes dysfunctional community. I care about sound quality more than others and I make no apologies for that. However, it can be exhausting at times to fuss over sonic nuances in equipment and in the music itself. Sometimes, I just want something that's fun and engaging and, dare I say this, NOT audiophile-y.
The EarFun Air Pro 2's are just what I need.
Full disclaimer: I own the EarFun Free Pro and the EarFun Free Pro-Oluv Edition. Both are good ANC earbuds but the original Free Pro's have an over-emphasis on the bass and treble while the Oluv Edition are tuned almost flat and are more balanced but sound lifeless with no energy. Not to say that anything is wrong with them but they lack soul and passion. The Air Pro 2's strike a nice balance between the two in my opinion. There is still a bit of emphasis in the bass but the midrange is more prominent and the treble is smoother but can still be very present.
But, wow, these Pro 2's are so fun to listen to! Here's the quick rundown on the frequency spectrums:
Bass - it really punches hard when required but they are not absolute bass cannons - which is a good thing. For modern pop, rap, EDM, there's good weight and authority to the bass. For other genres like rock, jazz, folk, and even classical, the bass is definitely present but doesn't draw your attention away from everything else going on in the music.
Midrange - this is probably the best thing about the Pro 2's, even though they are a bit recessed but nowhere as recessed as the Free Pro's. Vocals, solo instruments, etc, have a more front and center presence. A good recording will present the mids quite well but even if the recording isn't the best, the mids will still come through ok.
Treble - I admit I enjoy a really good and well-extended treble. The Pro 2's do extend well into the upper regions but with some recordings, they can be a little zingy, but that's more because of the recording. Otherwise, it's really decent and brings life and energy to the music without much sibilance.
The Pro 2's have three modes - normal, ambient, and noise canceling. A long press on the left bud will toggle between them. Normal mode can give you all the noise reduction you need passively but NC mode will reduce outside noise more dramatically, mostly in the lower frequencies. It does boost the bass a little bit more and pushes the sound more to the front which reduces the openness a little but I can see where some might like that. I use them in NC mode when I cut the grass and while some of the mid-frequency noise will come through, they reduce the low rumble of the mower very well. This is really good considering that the Pro 2's don't insert into your ear canals. Impressive.
Lastly, the Pro 2's do not have an app that allows you to control the aspects of the sound and tailor them to your own preferences. This may be a deal-breaker for some but to me, it kind of makes a statement that EarFun is confident in the way they tuned these and that it should please most listeners. I would say that EarFun is getting better at defining and developing their sound signature and what they have here is very, very good! Fun-sounding, better balanced, cleaner...I say, well done!
To me, these are the kind of TW earbuds that you just pop in your ears and just have fun with your music. When I'm not fussing with my collections of headphones from Beyerdynamics, AKG, Grados, or Sennheisers, I just put these in, especially when I'm out and about, about just enjoy the music! The EarFun Air Pro 2's are amazing for what they are. Sure, I can pick these apart with a fine-toothed comb but why? These are not audiophile earbuds. They don't have to be. They're fun, dynamic, and fairly balanced. Throw in good touch controls and great battery life, these are my guilty pleasure "reference" TW earbuds.
As an audiophile, I have no shame in owning these! Show Full Review

I have been working remote for almost 10 years. Through the pandemic, people have started using cameras a lot more during virtual meetings and my big bulky headphones weren't camera friendly (at least in my opinion). I originally started using Galaxy Buds Pro. They fit ok, but would eventually slide out of my ears no matter what tips I used and once that secure fit was lost, the call quality suffered and I got a lot of complaints that people couldn't hear me well. Then I went to the Galaxy Buds Live. The call quality was great, but they were so uncomfortable and really made my ears sore even if I just wore them 30 minutes at a time.Soooo, off to Google I went to search for the best virtual meeting earbuds. That's where I came across EarFun for the first time. There were some great YouTube videos and a few articles raving about their quality, especially for being under $100. I went to Amazon and sure enough, these had great reviews. I had been reading Bose, Sony, Apple and Jabra reviews and they were all mixed reviews and to pay close to $200 with mixed reviews didn't sit right with me.The Amazon EarFun reviews really sold me, and I thought, for $80, it's worth a shot. I found out they had a coupon, so I got them for $60, and let me just say, these little earbuds are the bees knees!!!They paired in seconds with my laptop! The charging case is compact and flashes green to let you know the case is charged. When you open the case, the earbuds flash blue to let you know they're on and will flash red when they power off (when you set them back in the case). They've never died on me and I used them a few hours a day. I do generally place them in their case between calls. They are super comfortable. With the Samsung Buds Live, I would be ripping them out of my ears the second the call was over, but with EarFun, I could wear them all day if I had to.The call quality is on point. I can hear the participants perfectly in my meetings and they can hear me perfectly!! I've been using them for 3 days and not one complaint from anyone that I'm not coming through crystal clear. They "snap" back into the case, and have noise cancelling. They also still work if you only have one earbud in, which I frequently do.If you're looking for a comfortable pair of earbuds, definitely give these a try! They might not have the big name of others, but in my opinion, these have already out performed more expensive earbuds. Please note, I have not paired them with my phone or listened to music. I bought them specifically for virtual Microsoft Teams calls. Show Full Review

I had to buy a pair of ear buds for a new job to do frequent Zoom calls so I didn't disturb my coworkers. I've never been a fan of ear buds because the people I talk to who use them are so hard to hear. I had a pair many years ago and that was the complaint I heard every time I tried to use them for hands free driving. They said I always sounded muffled and I had given up on using them. The EarFun ear buds are not those at all!! They provide crystal clear listening for me when I listen to my music and the person (or group of people) I'm talking to say it sounds like I'm right next to them. These are more expensive than most but they are worth every penny. The cute little case they come in also charges them. They are super easy to pair with your devices. They are one of the best things I've bought through Amazon in a very long time. Show Full Review

Just like the previous version, EarFun Air Pro 2 delivers the same connectivity consistency with decent sound quality. This time the microphones work much better than its predecessor.
- Sound quality 5/5 - decent sound that met my expectation for a portable, light-weight product. Of course, to get the most out of high quality music, these are not as good as a high-end headset.
- Connectivity 5/5 - easy to connect and does not drop connection.
- Battery life 5/5 - as advertised, last for more than 30 hours per full charge
- Comfortability 3/5 - a bit uncomfortable compared to the previous version. Many ear tips were provided, but the smallest ones are still bigger than the EarFun Air 4.
- Charging 5/5 - fast charging as advertised
- Design 5/5 - the earphones are easier to take out from the case compared to the Air 4.
- Microphones 5/5 - capture the voice much better than the Air 4. Show Full Review
